Romapada Swami Exposed is a collection of information about a person who was given the renounced order of life after Srila Prabhupada left the planet. According to the many reports posted on this website, Romapada Swami is not following the rules for sannyasa. Romapada Swami is also a member of the GBC (Governing Board Commission) of ISKCON, which should make his qualifications even more demanding. Unfortunately, the GBC has no oversight committee or checks and balances to monitor and to bring to correction their own members like Romapada Swami. The fact that many persons or devotees report that Romapada Swami does not always tell the truth, would call into question anything that Romapada Swami says or does, and certainly Romapada Swami's credibility as any kind of spiritual authority of ISKCON.  Anyone who is a member or supporter of ISKCON would wish that Romapada Swami conforms to the perameters governing both a GBC member and sannyasa. Perhaps  the best rectification for Romapada Swami is that he is not allowed to act as a guru or GBC in ISKCON if his personal character is in question, as many of the statements here in RomapadaSwamiExposed.org illustrate. It is of the utmost importance not to have persons in such a managerial position in ISKCON as Romapada Swami, and have such a questionable record or performance or chacter. ISKCON authorities such as the GBC need to monitor their own more carefully, and in order to keep the trust of members of ISKCON, some accountability outside their own GBC group should be organized for fidelity and accountability in GBC management. It must come to pass if ISKCON is to endure the test of time and stay pure in its mission. RomapadaSwamiExposed.org is a unfortunate sign that accountability in ISKCON GBC management is lacking and should become more a priority.
